The North Georgia Knitting Guild organizes regular workshops to expand knitting and crochet skills. Workshops are taught by members and held in members’ homes.

We are always looking for hosts for upcoming NGKG workshops! When workshops are hosted in a member’s home they can take the workshop for free. If the instructor is also hosting, they may apply $25 per occurrence to another workshop.  For example, if there is a two-part workshop and both parts are hosted by the instructor, then the instructor may take two $25 workshops at no charge.

Fees

Workshop fees are $25 for Members and $30 for Non-Members (Note that if you choose to pay online or via credit card in person, there will be a $1 fee added). All workshop fees must be paid no later than one week (7 days) prior to the workshop date to confirm participant’s place in the workshop. Places will not be held for a participant until payment is received.

Registration

Members are able to register for a workshop immediately after they are announced, and non-members are able to register one week after it is announced. Participants may cancel their participation in a workshop, but no refunds will be issued when cancelled within one week (7 days) of the workshop date.

If you are interested in attending a workshop or have any questions, please email the VP of Workshops. Please note that your place will be not held until payment is received.  Payments for workshops can be done online via our online store or in person via credit card, cash, or check.  Checks may also be mailed to the VP of Workshops.  Please email the VP of Workshops for the best address.

If the guild needs to cancel a workshop, registered and paid participants will receive a full refund. If the guild needs to change a workshop date, time, location or description, participants may request a refund or apply the payment toward a future workshop if they can no longer attend.
