    Upcoming NGKG Workshops:

Knit One Below: Elevate Your Knitting by Jolie Elder

Friday July 31st and Saturday August 1st

It seems brioche is having a moment, especially in the work of Stephen West or Nancy Marchant. Do the directions look Greek to you? How do I “bark” or “burp” in knitting? What does it mean to work the right-side twice without turning? What’s knitting in the stitch below? Students will leave ready to work brioche patterns regardless of how they are described.
In class we will make the same stitch pattern using both the crown + bark method and the knit one below method. Two very different maneuvers, yet they produce exactly the same stitch pattern!?
    No Homework!
